360 Glazed Donut Vodka Review, A Flavorful Tasting!

Tasting Notes: A breath taking flavor of authenticity in its rich and flavorfully sweet glaze with hints of donut goodness.

360 Vodka’s Glazed Donut Vodka — the review. Upon first inspection of the scent, you’ll receive a wafting sweet caramel, hazelnut and glaze. Once tasting the 360 Vodka Glaze Donut you’re struck with a round, smooth and rich donut glaze with ever so subtle doughy finish. I was a bit struck when the flavors of glazed donut actually reminded me of actual glazed donuts as opposed to the essence of a product that is supposed to be a flavoring of something.

There are many flavors that exist in which companies go to great lengths to capture the essences of a product. In many cases, such as citrus, it’s fairly easy to replicate much of the original flavors of the fruit but with a donut? Hard! But 360 vodka managed to pull out something that shouldn’t really be possible–a donut flavored vodka. You can go to the store and find all kinds of crazy vodka flavors, many seem to be a bit of a turn off but turn out to be great in a cocktail (the savory flavors of a bacon vodka come to mind).

This vodka is the vehicle for bringing the flavor of glazed donut to your palate, almost such that this could be a liqueur it’s so sweet. I think the glazed donut flavored vodka would work well in a white russian like derivative. For roughly USD $12.99, this is a product to keep on your shelves because it brings a new added flavor to a cocktail which requires a bit more sweet “glaze” like flavor; treat it more like a liqueur than a standard vodka, even if it is weighing in at 35% ABV!

I haven’t watched the review yet (will when I get a moment) but do you think this is a good vodka to just sip straight?

Depends on if you like to sip sweet things, but yeah, sure, it’s possible (like, flavor wise and such)

I do, indeed. I am a fan of sweet things so I believe it to be more my style.

(This is why I think I would prefer Sparkle Donkey’s Reposado to their Silver)

    By the way, that wouldn’t be $170 here…more like $160. 😛

A bottle of the same size Absolut you used for your skittles vodka, runs me $35 on (might’ve even been on special) at my local bottle shop.

Answer to “how sweet do you like your flavored vodkas?” … sickeningly sweet… as sweet as they can get! and that’s real.
