The Captain’s Grog | Tiki Month Complete With Snow Cone!

Today we’re going to show you how to make the captain’s grog tiki cocktail. This tiki drink has a few ingredients so be prepared!

Anytime we get to play with almond extract is a good time, and this is one of those times. Plus, the captain’s grog tiki drink requires the use of vanilla extract as well — double the fun in one tiki cocktail recipe!

The Captain’s Grog Recipe
– 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
– 1/2 oz grapefruit juice
– 1/2 oz maple syrup (grade a)
– 1/2 oz Falernum
– 1/2 oz orange curacao
– 1/2 oz dark Jamaican rum
– 3/4 oz light Puerto rican rum
– 3/4 oz gold Puerto rican rum
– 3 drops vanilla extract
– 3 drops almond extract
– 1 oz soda water

See? Simple! This drink is very tasty, but we’re not sure if you can create a captain’s grog any simplier, it’s got just the right amount of rum and sweetness and sour and flavor. It’s just fun. Plus, the ice cone is fun and cool! Tiki Drinks are the best for a reason, because rum, syrups and flavor!
