Today we create the “Wa-hockin-Dead”, or “Oaxacan Dead” if you utilize the name of Oaxaca Mexico. This cocktail seems intimidating at first and, no doubt, isn’t the fastest cocktail to build, but it’s worth the flavor profile.
A sweet smokey candy that’s almost hard to describe outside of that description. The biggest issue with this cocktail is how fast you drink it and realize all that effort is already used and gone. Then you have to make another!
We highly suggest you utilize fresh grapefruit juice for this cocktail or the flavor profile may be a bit too tart.
