Today we’re going to show you how to make the Naked in the Desert cocktail / drink, using Sotol (like Mezcal sorta) and some herbalness. Ian learns how to shake instead of stir, and much more.
Jon Spikes sent this one in, he found it here: https://imbibemagazine.com/recipe/naked-in-the-desert-sotol-cocktail/
This drink brings Aperol, Sotol and Yellow Chartreuse together with some sour. Making this herbal sour like cocktail recipe. This recipe originates in Tulum Mexico.
In his nod to Joaquín Simó’s Naked and Famous cocktail, Diego Valencia skips the mezcal and brings in another Mexican spirit, sotol. The result is an extra earthy interpretation of the original.
