The Toronto cocktail reminds us of the Black Manhattan, but it’s got a sweetener in it: Maple Syrup. Of course whiskey and maple syrup are a thing, now let’s show you!
We bring Fernet Branca into this drink instead of a typical black manhattan which would use Averna. The difference is the medicinal “menthol” coldness of the cardamom in Fernet Branca coming into play. It’s a lot of flavor for your mouth, probably just one of these a night is enough on the palate.

– 2 oz Rye Whiskey
– 1/2 oz Fernet-Branca
– 1/2 oz Maple Syrup
– 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
– Orange Peel Garnish
