How To Make The Kamikaze Cocktail Recipe / Vodka Drinks

Today we’re going to show you how to make the Kamikaze drink recipe, a 1970’s citrus-forward cocktail using vodka. Bookmark the drink here https://bit.ly/3cJrbJj

A 1970’s cocktail with citrus-forward flavor that’s easy to make and served as either a cocktail or two shots. Shake this guy, dilution is going to be desired.

You’ll find we compliment this drink with some Lavender bitters from Scrappy’s, you can find your own bottle right here: https://awesomedrinks.com/products/scrappys-lavender-bitters-5-oz-bottle

Kamikaze
– 1 oz Vodka
– 1 oz Triple Sec
– 1 oz Lime Juice
– Orange Peel

This is one of those 70’s drinks that survived the revolution of bad cocktails, primarily designed with vodka. This is a good “base” cocktail, much like a daiquiri that deserves tweaks. We add lavender bitters, but you can try a wide range of cocktail bitters for this design because there are no liqueurs that really drive the flavor in any single direction. The Kamikaze is a natural canvas for adding more product because, in general, this is much like a vodka sour with a bit more citrus flavor.

I think the Kamikaze drink can probably work with citrus bitters as well, but it really brings the same flavor already found within the cocktail so it won’t make it anymore “interesting.”
