Today we’re going to show you how to make the golden tail, a hybrid cocktail between the Golden Rush and a Lion’s Tale.

This cocktail brings allspice, but it may not stand out as much as you may want, it’s not “exciting” and, even though Dan says he loves Lemon, perhaps the lemon is what just distracts from it. A few extra dashes of chocolate and it does get a bit more exciting or at least more …something. But still, it’s just “alright” by Dan’s standards. It’s a little lemon-forward flavor.
The Golden Tail
– 2 oz Whiskey
– 0.75 oz lemon juice
– 0.5 oz honey syrup
– 0.25 oz Allspice Dram
– 1 dash chocolate bitters
