How To Make The Dublin Minstrel / Powers Irish Whiskey

Today we’re going to show you how to make the Dublin Minstrel, a cocktail with Powers Irish Whiskey. This drink will fit well into your St. Patrick’s Day agenda, however Derrick does find it a bit lime-forward.

The Dublin Minstrel was a drink suggested by Stephane Foisy, we know he’s not a huge sweet fan and this drink stays on point. Derrick, however, did find it a bit lime-forward (and sour) for his taste, but it does not land on the sweet side for sure.

The Dublin Minstrel
– 1 oz (30ml) Irish whiskey
– ¾ oz (22.5ml) green Chartreuse
– ¾ oz (22.5ml) Maraschino Liqueur
– ¾ oz (22.5ml) fresh lime juice

We can find it hard to find Irish Whiskey recipes that have a classic appeal, perhaps because they’re just not as popular. In either case, we’ve got one more for the books for those that love Irish Whiskey to give a go! Drink recipes for all!
