This is a good drink for those that like to drink tequila, perhaps you are also a bourbon drinker and now you can meet right in the middle. Finding good Añejo Tequila cocktails can be tough, this is a great fall back plan when you’re struggling to find good pairings with aged tequila.
This drink is a simple stirring build that doesn’t require a great deal of ingredients, but you will want some agave nectar.
Añejo Old Fashioned Recipe
– 3 oz siempre anejo tequila
– 1/4 oz agave nectar
– 1 dash angostura bitters
– 1 cherry
– 1 orange peel
