The Cynar Flip is a great Thanksgiving cocktail for 2022 and beyond. It’s a great “flip” (egg based cocktail, like a Nog). You can use your favorite whiskey and whatever bitters you can get your hands on (aromatic bitters).

Clove Simple Syrup is fairly straight forward, create a simple syrup with a few cloves in it and let it sit for 30 minutes and strain ’em out. Crush them to get even faster and more potent clove attack.

Cynar Flip
– 1 oz Canadian whisky
– 1 oz Cynar
– 1/2 oz Cointreau
– 1/4 oz clove simple syrup
– 1 whole egg
– 1 dash The Bitter Truth Jerry Thomas’ Own Decanter bitters
