This is Common Man Cocktails 9 Year Anniversary, our first episode launched in July 2008. Now, let’s look at a few things Derrick has learned over the last 9 years, some good and some bad.
Learning lessons from bad experiences play a big role in growth, and our nine year window is no different. We’ve made a lot of mistakes, assumptions and had many setbacks, but sometimes you just have to push forward and make things happen.
Even when you don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, you’re not being compensated for the hours upon hours of work you put in, you put your head down and keep going. Hoping someday, enough people will care that you can make a career of it.
