Tasting Notes: Great lemon aroma from the peel. The taste brings a big gin bite that rolls into a herbal citrus zest. Lots of citrus, subtle juniper with a juniper aroma aftertaste balanced against the lemon citrus. Chartreuse brings a mild yet great accented herbal mid-palate flavor.
The long-form name would be Sakuya Izayoi: Illusory Drink “Blue Murder Doll” so we’re doing the next best thing and shortening it. However, we’re keeping the drink the same and that’s all that matters. This is a great use of Chartreuse because it brings a mild mid-palate experience without overdoing it and taking over the drink.
