How To Make The Lynchburg Lemonade #2

Tasting Notes: Oak and honey brought together in a stunning fashion; also has a bit of a citrus bite and perhaps even a touch of lime.

This lynchburg lemonade recipe will highlight Honey Whiskey and play it out in a very cool and honey driven flavor. This cocktail brings tons of refreshing oak and honey to the face that it’s almost mind boggling. The carbonated lemon lime soda doesn’t even phase your palate because you become so single-mindedly focused on that honey oak play.

 Recipe:

  • 1 oz. Honey Whiskey
  • 1 oz. Triple Sec
  • 1 oz. Sour Mix
  • 4 oz. Lemon/Lime Soda (e.g. 7UP)

OY! — Yes, Honey Whiskey makes all the difference. Makes a ‘standard’ Lynchburg Lemonade seem um, shallow… If like me, though, and you enjoyed it too much, next AM, a standard ritual: OK for sure, water is good for your body, your are 70% H2O. Drinking alcohol gets rid of a lot of it. Having a glass of water between each adult beverage helps keep you from dehydrating – and also can help you from assing out as quickly :-b (I forgot that part). Water before bed, water in the AM, with something like a wheat toast with peanut butter, banana slices and honey. there’s plenty of advice out there on how to Get Rid of a Hangover , you might just have to try around, until you find what works for you.
