Tasting Notes: Imagine a sangria based sweet port wine and you’re on the right flavor highway. Rich with dark barry flavor, sweet brown sugars and a fine integration of berry. No one berry dominates but all are present.
A cocktail with insane amount of berry flavor, if you can close your eyes and imagine a port wine sangria you’re on the right track.
Please note the correction, the recipe splash at the end reads “Schnapps” for the blueberry, but it should be a vodka. Granted, schnapps may work fine.
Recipe:
- 1/2 oz. Blueberry Vodka
- 1/2 oz. Creme de Cassis
- 1/2 oz. Baja Rosa
- 3/4 oz. Herring Cherry Liqueur
- 3/4 oz. Chambord,
- Top with Pomegranate Juice (e.g. POM Wonderful)
