Everyday Drinkers Podcast 26: Mojito

It’s spring here in the United States, leading us to summer we figured we’d open up with a good Mojito episode. We’re exploring different styles of rum, new brands and muddling up a storm of chaos.

If you’re looking to make some classic Mojito’s, this is the episode for you. Oh, and we talk a bit about Pirates too! We learn a bit about Doug and his love for the Mojito.

Funny you mention wanting to “guide someone’s purchase” when you see them picking out a Patrón ’cause that happened to me at the liquor store today… really had to fight THAT one. & I the person behind me at the checkout line was buying Cuervo Gold… I won’t lie, I kinda died a little inside.

& did I hear correctly that they’re coming out with a Cavalino Añejo??? Exciting!!

I’ve gotta try that 4-oz-rum Mojito soon.

    Great job, guys! 🙂

Very informative and entertaining, as usual. I must say however, that it sounded like you and your compatriots repeatedly said “mulled,” as opposed to “muddled.” If I’m correct in your choice of verbiage, this would be problematic. Since “to mull” means to add spices to a heated beverage as in a mulled wine, this would be the antithesis to a refreshing mojito! Perhaps all that delightful rum you were imbibing is responsible! 🙂
