Tasting Notes: If you love sour cocktails and you love bourbon, the hudson daisy (or Bourbon Daisy) will bring you a light sweetness against a larger sour and a very forward bourbon flavor.
The Hudson Daisy, or for those without Hudson Bourbon, the Bourbon Daisy. This cocktail feels like a slightly easier (and more sour) Whiskey Sour without as much sweetness. Definitely brings out the bourbon flavor, but some will still rather settle on straight bourbon.
Recipe
- 2 oz. Bourbon
- 1 oz. Lemon Juice
- 1/2 Tsp Grenadine
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- Garnish with Orange Slice
