The Fig ‘N Rum, a CMC Original

Today we create Jen’s recipe which we entitle by the end of this episode as Fig ‘N Rum. We take Kleiner Feigling Fig Liqueur, which apparently is popular with the youth in Europe, and bring some straight up seriousness to the cocktail. The goal? To create a tiki rum based drink with underlying fig flavored sweetness.

This drink will bring a delicate balance that has a history built in tiki (Island rum cocktails) with just a bit of a nice subtle fig, a flavor you may not pickup on if you’re not queued into what that flavor is as fig isn’t something you see often in a cocktail.
