The video game themed shooter, the Falcon Punch, based off Captain Falcon from F-Zero, but in his role in Super Smash Brothers. The goal of this cocktail is to represent the punch, but it’s curbed off by the use of grenadine so it ends up being more tasty and less destructive as a “punch” as the meme for Falcon Punch.
As stated, this is a popular meme among some folks on the Interwebs, just google image search and you’ll see what we mean, you’ll also find it on Urban Dictionary.
However, for our purposes, this is a rum focused shooter with a bit of 151 to add the kick. But you don’t have to take our word for it, this is a fairly easy cocktail to create, we just suggest you use a real grenadine and not the high fructose corn syrup stuff.
