Silk Stockings Cocktail, with Tequila!

The garnish on this really brings out an aroma of cinnamon, without the cinnamon you’ll get nothing on the nose. This isn’t the first cream based cocktail we’ve created on the show with tequila, but it’s the first in a long time.

The flavor is pretty specific: tequila and cream. The tequila is very forward in this cocktail, so you will have to like the flavor of agave if you want to participate in this drink.

The cream will coat your tongue and limit the overall flavor if they’re subtle, so make sure you use a bright striking tequila so it comes through in the flavor profile. Very single dimensional cocktail, not too much chocolate, no real grenadine flavor, it’s tequila and cream straight up.
