Tasting Notes: Less sweet than a tequila sunrise, with a good tequila flavor profile and an off-dry finish
The Minooka Sunset, really brings out the Suerte Blanco Tequila in this cocktail and the hand blown tiki glass really brings out the sexy. The drink looks much like a tequila sunrise but the cranberry brings the dry tartness instead of the sweetness of a grenadine. Plus, the cocktail is pretty simple to make, especially if you can find a cranberry soda to lighten up the body over standard cranberry juice.
Recipe
- 1 1/2 oz. Silver Tequila
- Fill with Orange Juice
- Top with Cranberry Soda (or Cranberry Juice if not available)
