Las Vegas Distillery’s Nevada Whiskey Review

Sometime’s it is fun to find a new product that you can’t get locally and for me, Las Vegas Distillery’s Nevada Whiskey is one of those products. While the people in Nevada are lucky enough to have a distillery in town, the folks at Las Vegas Distillery are working their way across to the east coast. Today, however, we had a chance to try their Nevada Whiskey thanks to one of our viewers, Cody.

The Nevada Whiskey product is smooth on the tongue yet pretty light weight on the palate. The beautiful copper color really brings out the drinkers enthusiasm as it feels like a lot older of a product than it probably is, considering its lighter weight but really nice flavor profile. There is a great balance within Nevada Whiskey between the vanilla/spice notes and alcohol back-end heat while not being too overly oaked. The mouth feel is silky and delicate making Nevada Whiskey feel more like something you’d be sipping on instead of putting in a cocktail, just give it a little ice or chilled water to curb down any of the alcohol intensity.

If you can find the Las Vegas Distillery‘s Nevada Whiskey, it’s definitely worth a try. At around USD $35, it’s smooth and silky texture with light approachable feel commands a bit higher of a price from the more rough lower end whiskies.

Question of the day, What is the spirit you wish you could try?
