How To Make The Oaxacan Old Fashioned

Mezcal is all the rage in our house, how about you? However, Mezcal alone can often-times be extremely intense on smoke, depending on the brand of Mezcal you’re using. So, this cocktail is balanced out with tequila, keeping the Oaxacan theme.

We didn’t find this cocktail in Mexico (hell, it was tough even to find Mezcal believe it or not) but that is no excuse not to suck down a few of these cocktails riff’ed off the old-fashioned cocktail.
