The Mexican Firing Squad is like a sweeter paloma in flavor profile, with some bitters and citrus with an adjusted sweet level thanks to the use of grenadine.

Definitely fits the pool side drink, but any day can feel like a pool day with some tequila and a dream. It’s all good, a secondary drink to the margarita or, perhaps due to its mild sweetness, the tequila sunrise, is a good thing to have in your back pocket for alternative recipes.

Mexican Firing Squad
– 1½ oz. blanco tequila
– ¾ oz. fresh lime juice
– ¾ oz. grenadine
– 2 dashes Aromatic bitters
– Top 2 oz of soda water
