Today we will show you how to make the gaelic flip, a whole egg cocktail with Irish whiskey, vermouth and some other interesting additions.
The Gaelic Flip is a cocktail designed to utilize whiskey in a traditional flip cocktail style. This brings a hard hitting whiskey punch with spices all up in your grill piece. Whiskey plus vermouth for alcohol combined with allspice dram and ground nutmeg as your garnish and you get a spicy number.
This isn’t the spice that burns, but the spice that can easily take over your senses an a bright and intense way. That, my friends, is a gaelic flip!
The Gaelic Flip
– 1¼ oz. Irish whiskey
– 1 oz. Sweet vermouth
– 1 tsp. Allspice liqueur
– 1/3 oz. Simple syrup
– 1 egg
– Garnish: ground nutmeg
