How To Make a Pomegranate Mezcal Margarita / Cocktail Bitters Month

Today we’ll teach you How To Make a Pomegranate Mezcal Margarita, a cocktail recipe that my wife designed using both tequila and mezcal. In our case, we’ll use Sonora which is a variety of agave that isn’t actually registered as a true “mezcal” much like tequila isn’t.

Was this a spicy cocktail recipe? Sure. Why? Because we add heat to it and you’ll find that using an eye dropper is your friend if you’re worried about total spice factor with the Pomegranate Mezcal Margarita. This drink is about a smoky fire that gives you a bit of refreshing sour, floral notes and dry pomegranate.

A great spring or summer cocktail because it brings the tequila/mezcal combination together with some pomegranate juice while keeping it trendy with spice. Spicy cocktails are the rage and this drink can get as spicy as you want yet still maintains a delicious sour cocktail appeal that makes you want to take another sip.

Of course, because we used Naga Chili Vodka, you can get a pretty insane attack of heat. A 500,000 scovilles vodka will do that to you, see our review here: https://youtu.be/r5PDe60nHbo
