Today we’re going to show you how to make a champagne cocktail. In this case our champagne cocktail is made three times to taste it with three unique bitters: Angostura, Lavender and Grapefruit bitters.

The champagne cocktail is easy so play around with the components to see if you can find a taste you really love. That may be changing your sparkling wine variation and/or bitter variations. Also, try a brown sugar cube vs a white sugar cube.
In our case this is the cocktail recipe of choice:
– 6 oz of Champagne / Sparkling Wine / Prosecco
– 1 Sugar Cube
– 3 Dashes Angostura Bitters
– Lemon Twist
Our champagne cocktail used Prosecco but a California sparkling wine will work as will, of course, traditional champagne. There are many easy cocktails with champagne but the champagne cocktail is no doubt the most classic and original formula.
There is no doubt some historical context behind the original champagne cocktail but we’re using it more as a New Years Eve celebratory drink. Champagne and bitters! Let’s do this!
