Crazy Night In Paradise Cocktail

Tasting Notes: Great apple and banana flavors with a bit of vanilla; very little acidity considering the amount of lemonade and not too much lemonade flavor.

How to make the Crazy Night in Paradise cocktail, we’ve got a few great ingredients coming together for one crazy night. The color is beautiful and the taste… you decide. I think it’s almost like stuffing a handful of runts in your mouth and bringing in all those flavors at once.

Danger, good deal of alcohol with no alcohol flavor, this may creep up on you and punch you in the face. What drink hides its alcohol big time for you?

 Recipe:

  • 1 oz. 99 Banana’s
  • 1 oz. Hpnotiq
  • 1 oz. Apple Schnapps
  • 1 oz. Vanilla Vodka
  • 6 oz. Lemonade

My answer to Question of the day: Blueberry vodka(Koskenkorva Blueberry in my case) and Sprite (or 7up). It tastes like candy and are so simple to make, be wary.

Ps. Can you tell us what was the most common answer besides Long-island ice tea, Vodka Redbull and Jäger Redbull?

    Hi,
I’ve just started following your podcast and I really like it. Quick and to the point, yet still descriptive enough to get an idea of what the drink should taste like. I also like that you don’t go do something very complex every episode, because it takes a considerable amount of effort to go and make all your own home ingredients on a regular basis.

Qotd: I am a guy who likes his classics and versions of classic drinks (classical style?, don’t know how to describe it lol), so I drink Mojito’s a lot in the summer. Those creep up on me quickly so that’s the one immediately pops into my head right now.

That’s funny Teck, I get a ton of people saying my show is too long and that I need to make it shorter. I’ve already told ’em that won’t happen. We’re not doing a “howto” 2-minute video, anyone with no personality can do that, we strive for something more of a “show.” 🙂

@dschommer It’s interesting that you mention that because I feel like experience and personality are important to explaining a drink. If it’s only viewed as a chemistry experiment and nothing else you loose the whole point of drinking and/or talking about drinking…which is the whole point right? If your random personal thoughts and related experiences aren’t expressed I don’t feel like I get the true experience of mixing and tasting the drink. Anyways that’s just my two cents lol. Suffice it to say you have new follower for a little while at least. Thanks for the interest. 🙂

Yeah, making meatloaf is also a chemistry of sorts but I really just like eating meatloaf, I don’t really care about the chemistry if it tastes good. At a scientific level, it is interesting and I think it’s important for some folks to know but for the majority of people trying to make cocktails, they want to know “how does it taste?” and that’s what I try to bring 🙂
