The B’lure Bourbon Sour is designed much like a standard “Whiskey Sour” but with a twist. Not only does it bring a nice delicious Buffalo Trace Bourbon to the scene but it takes it too a new level with B’lure Butterfly Pea Extract.
You can use the B’lure and Rose/Hibiscus products like a normal bitter for aroma and flavor, just make sure you refrigerate when not in use!
For aromatic bitters, you can use what you may own (Angostura is popular), but we’re a fan of the Berg & Hauck Aromatics so we chose those instead.

B’lured Bourbon Sour Recipe
- 2 oz. Bourbon
- 1 oz. Lemon Juice
- 1 oz. Simple Syrup
- 2 Dashes Berg & Hauck Aromatics
Butterfly Pea Ice Cubes
- 2/3 oz. B’lure Butterfly Pea Extract
- 8 oz. Water
