Bitter Winters Cure

The bitter winters cure is a warm cocktail to get you through the chilly nights. While the cocktail is based on hot water, the alcohol does not come through like many warmer cocktails (with a large ethanol aorma), and that’s always good.

Like many classics, this design (while not classic itself) does utilize a rye whiskey with an apple brandy, too things you would see prior to prohibition no doubt.

It then utilizes two bitters to really add a third dimension to the taste, making it seem like you put much more work into the cocktail than you really did.
