3-Mile Long Island Iced Tea, Best Recipe in Months!

Tasting Notes: Iced tea, this is a cocktail that brings little actual alcohol flavor or aftertaste, it’s all about actually tasting like tea even though no tea is present. Very strange indeed.

The 3-Mile Long Island Iced Tea is a variant of the standard L.I.I.T but with some changes to ratios and ingredients you can get an extremely authentic look and feel to your cocktail that acts just like a real iced tea… but we don’t know why. Toss this in a Big Ass Highball Glass and call it an afternoon!

Everyone on set was amazed at the taste, this is a sleeper cocktail recipe that awakes your senses and makes you realize “This is the way a long island should be”

It would really help if you guys specified the amounts of cola and sour mix. I’m from europe and a “14 oz glass filled with ice” is so incredibly arbitrary. I’m guessing here 2 oz of cola and 1 oz of sour mix? Would that be right?

I just made this but with just 2 small differences.

Substituted Triple Sec for Peach Schnapps
Added no bitters since i have none at the moment but i will be buying some from your site AwesomeDrinks.com very soon.

Anyways, just had to say that even with those two small differences this drink was still

F#@&ING AAAWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSOOOOOOMMMMMEEEEE!!!! (in my best Doug voice lol)

recently ordered some syrups, ice trays, shaker and strainer and they are all amazing.

You mentioned something about doing “shout-outs” a while back on your videos and i am actually interested in doing that for a special occasion so if you could please email me at the provided address that would be great.

Love the show and looking forward to many more.

I actually went out and bought gin for the first time just to try this. little hint, Hendricks is not the right gin to get. It tasted good, but also had a sort of cologne flavor to it. once i got some proper gin though, this recipe got used a lot.
