How To Make The Pisco Sour

Tasting Notes: Mildy sour, with an intriguing pisco flavor highlight with bits of sweetness in a very smooth silky body. No alcohol flavor and only a gentle bitterness and an off-dry finish. Almost has a bit of a cachaça sweet rum flavor to it as well.

A Pisco Sour (Peesko!), a classic cocktail utilizing Pisco and some sour. But, don’t forget the Egg White for the beautiful head. This classic is as great as it looks, it’s unique yet appealing taste is a complete change up to the typical cocktail menu, definitely a must try. The foamy head lasts for over 20 minutes with the nice egg white structure.

We purchased a bottle of La Diablada to create our Pisco sour as Pisco isn’t really something I can easily get my hands on in our State.

 Recipe:

  • 2 oz. Pisco
  • 3/4 oz. Lime Juice
  • 3/4 oz. Simple Syrup
  • Egg White
  • Dash of Angostura Bitters

The egg white top make this one looking great 🙂 Unfortunately, I think we’ll never know the truth about who invented the Margarita.. But I think drinks that represent the USA are bourbon drinks, Mint Julep, or Lynchburg Lemonade
