Welcome to the first true blind tasting on the show! This is the prototype “pilot” episoide for a spinoff show that focuses on the spirit themselves, not the cocktail. That means both Jennifer and I are on camera hoping to bring you close to the world of light rums through our own taste buds.
Many folks have been awaiting this show, as have we, and today it becomes real. This is one of a three-part blind tasting, tomorrow you’ll see round 2 and on Tuesday we’ll release the third and final round. This also marks Jennifer’s first appearance on the show, marking the 169th episode.
