Kryptonite Cocktail Recipe [video]

A true tropical beverage is not complete without the use of rum. The Kryptonite cocktail contains a lot of unique rums to give plenty of dimension to this green little drink. We’re using some Captain Morgan private stock again, so get out your bottles! ARG!

This would be a great drink for pirates because it’s got a lot of nice rums. Of course, I cannot imagine a pirate drinking a green cocktail…

Man, this or the freaking green drink…that’s such a hard choice.

If you have a local store that has Cielo and Partida, then you’re doing better than me! 🙂 I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with either.

    I don’t know which I’d prefer, I’d have to have them side-by-side.

well they have the anejos but they offered me to special order for which i did for my private stock because at the time i didnt know that longs had the private stock or safeway but they got a lot of tequilas not a lot of vodkas its dominated by mexicans so theres not much vodka choiches which i wanted to try 3 olives….any other suggested tequilas around 50 dollars though and i wish they had cavalino reposado to try it out ur lucky

Do a price check on Cabo Wabo Silver, that may be in the range. Or, Tres Generaciones should be around $45 area for their silver/repo.

Check through my array of documented tequilas and see what you can find local: http://mixdrinkipedia.com/brand/tequila/welcome

Both are good brands, if cost is an issue go with the cheaper. Or, go with the cheaper now and try the next one after so you can compare when money/time is available.

Cabo has an 86-point rating by tasters, tres gen has an 84-point rating. That’s pretty close.
