riazul-anejoThe Tequila industry is growing at a rapid pace and we’re seeing new brands entering the market every week. Riazul is one such company and Inaki Orozco and his team are showing us how a modestly priced tequila can compete against those with $100+ price tags. A really interesting and informative podcast there, and a nice addition to the other more informal podcasts ( yes they make me laugh, and ofcourse to hear you fail on all the dutch brandnames ).

Can’t wait for the next one, keep up good work!

Ha! Yes, if it’s a non-German or English brand name, I’m likely to trip and fall!

Thanks for the feedback, the interview was fun and I feel I learned a lot about the product and a companies travels into an industry full of pretenders and wanna be’s. Next week we’ll be talking with Brave Spirits.

I had a little bit more of the Añejo last night when doing some tastings (internally) and continue to be blown away by the chocolate sweet hints in Riazul… very nice.
