One of my Christmas gifts, this year, a new bottle opener! Not just a standard opener, of course, it’s a push down bottle opener as seen on shows like Diggnation. Now, the only problem was the look on my wifes face when she said “it’s only 14 dollars?” Which means I’ve got to select another gift because it’s not enough for a Christmas present for your significant other.
That’s okay, I’m going to enjoy the new bottle opener. Oddly enough, their are only a few available and I couldn’t find a really good customized bottle opener or fancy push down bottle opener so I had to go with the stainless steel one. They did have a corona push down bottle opener but I felt it would be too hard to find a place to store it when I’m not using it (as it was a bit big).
I think the corona bottle opener was the neatest looking and may surprise your beer drinking friends when you hand it to them when they request a “church key.” The corona opener even had special photos to show you how it works, as the ‘opener’ is in the bottom of the bottle.
If you’re looking for a holiday gift you may want to surprise your beer drinking buddy with one of these fancy looking push down bottle opener. It would accompany a ‘gift basket’ very well with a few other beer drinking accessories–for me, I’ll just be happy being able to push down and pop the top, showing off for my friends.
A cool bottle opener is definitely one gift I will enjoy opening… even if I already know what I’m getting. Oh, and you can use it with soda too.
